Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving day! Last night I finished reading a book by Gary Paulsen called The Haymeadow. The main character, John, talked about the beauty of the mountains and he couldn't find one thing ugly about them. Well, I ran a 5k that our ward sponsored this morning and I was thinking about the book as I looked at my surroundings. Even though I don't care for the winters up here, at least it is beautiful up in the mountains. As I freeze this year, I hope that my appreciation of what is around me isn't numbed like my fingers and my own ugly toes.
